Hamilton House operates these main services:
Leaflet shared: the pack consists of a letter for the administrator from the S.E.A. (a different letter each time - not the same "please distribute" note each time!) and between 7 and 15 leaflets from companies, government bodies, colleges etc. The service also gives an automatic free inclusion in the School Procurement Website, which lists products and services for schools and which we promote regularly. Additionally, where we have several items for one teacher we will put them in their own internal envelope addressed to that teacher (something that we believe can increase response rates).
Brochure shared: as per the leaflet service but suited to items weighing 25g or more. This is a new service introduced as a result of the introduction of PiP.
10% extra free: you can send us up to 10% more leaflets than the number of schools to be mailed. We'll keep your overs and then a few weeks later send out the remainder to a selection of schools.
Inner Pack: ideal if you have several items for one teacher - your items will go in their own inner pack which is labelled for the teacher and which travels within the shared pack. Please call 01536 399000 for prices and further information.
Standby: a standby mailing gives a significant discount on the normal mailing prices in return for which you agree that we can mail the item in any week up to 8 weeks after we receive your leaflets and payment.
Season Tickets: if you are planning to do three or more mailings a year of the same type you can gain significant discounts by booking into a season ticket service.
Postcode by Postcode: select the postcodes you want your mailing to go to. But please note that this service is not available to primary schools on certain weeks.
Further details can be found on the Prices and Dates section which gives the price for each service in each type of mailing.
Latest additions to the HHM shared mailing services:
- You can send an A3 leaflet folded in half, printed on heavier paper without any weight charge. (In fact if you use lighter paper you can probably insert an extra page inside the A3, and still not pay any weight charge.)
- You can have a discount rate or even a free advertisement on the new www.schools.co.uk website which lists every school in the UK complete with maps, Ofsted reports, and links to school websites.
- You can have a free review of your leaflet in order to discuss how it might be changed in order to gain higher response rates.
- If you put 3 leaflets in one mailing you would automatically go onto a Season Ticket 3. Season Tickets are calculated by the number of leaflets, not the number of mailings.
- If you have 2 or more leaflets in a mailing, you are only charged weight charge on the heaviest one. Thus if you have a 20g leaflet and a 19g leaflet, we charge weight charge on the 20g but there is no weight charge on the 19g leaflet. In the past the leaflets would have been added together and you would have paid weight charge on 39g.
